What has been the most challenging part of Covid-19?
The ever present, back of mind, apocalyptic anxiety and mental hyperventilation. I miss my family and friends a great deal and am weighed down by constant speculation about our society’s recovery. Luckily we have our health and many comforts of home so those fears aside, I ultimately feel very fortunate at this time.
What has given you strength/ are there any unexpected positives from this time?
Spending so much time with our baby Lake who is only 3.5 months. It is intense at times, but Jay and I have also learned a lot more about parenting together and we are present for some big early jumps in her development!
Who do you wear a mask for?
I wear a mask for myself, Jay, and Lake as I think about how hard it would be for all of us if one of us gets sick. I also wear a mask for those around me who are more at risk for infection and feel a sense of civic pride and mutual care when I see us all wearing them.
