What has been the most challenging part of covid19?
Dealing with the unknown if I or a loved one catches the virus... will it be unnoticeable or death? Scientists will learn more with time, but it will come too late for many.
Are there any unexpected positives from covid19?
It is an ever present reminder that we are all mortal with no guarantee how long we have on this earth. It doesn't allow us to take next week or next month for granted. I have enjoyed the beauty of spring and the cycle of life reborn more this year than ever before.
Who do you wear a mask for?
I wear it especially for my family but for everyone in society. It is such a small thing to do to show you care enough to protect others, in case you have the virus and are asymptomatic. It shows respect for clerks, pedestrians, mail persons and others that have to be working. I hope others do the same so that I can live out dreams of helping develop meaningful medicines for people, being with the next generation of family and seeing more beautiful springs!
